My Idea was to make a head for a warrior character who has mutated in a different environment where normal human eyes dont work all the time. and this guy can see even in the darkest and brightest of the environments. i tried to make him more grunt and tough looking and pulled his fore head a bit forward to add more interest and exaggeration to his eyes.

it was a quick test on ZBrush 3 Retopology feature and was intially sculpted on a simple sphere in zbrush and then was retopologized on it to make it better and then final sculpting was done. it took me more than one sittings.

its actually started from my older sculpture which is also there in my portfolio. and this time i wanted to transform thi into a stone sculpture of a greek thinker. i used "Plasterstone" material in zbrush which is available on zbrush forum. its a wip because i need to work on it once again. for any suggestion feel free to scribble my guestbook.

was listening High Hopes by their excilencies Pink Floyde and since i have just encountered with Craig Mullins' enormous and great art work website. Falling in luv at first site is my habit so i did wen i saw his work and i picked his "man_copy" (funny caption.. rite... errr... sorry craig!! ) and i made this in 2 hours at fotoshop with a frekin mouse that i always plan to replace with a new one wen next time i wud be coming back from office before the shops close. anyway cutting the story short its just a sketchy thing i studied his stroke play and did my own. learned lots o things.

this weekend was pretty handy for me... i cant say this one is finished or not for somebody else. but i liked it the way it does wen it started looking this way and i stopped brushing... based on a photograph. my apology to the photographer he has just seen this and wants to shoot me because i m not putting the link in here. its only because this image is from a random search and at that time there was no intention to paint it. so i dont have the link rite now. if some one has it. give it to me. thanx

basically it was started as a practice to study darks on dark. and eventually i thought i shud finish it. spend 3 to 4 hours i guess in two different sittings. painting clouds and sky makes u feel lot better.. thats wat i found out in the end...
and yeah its based on a real fotograph that i cant put here. i whole heartedly want to pu that link to the photograph in here but unfortunately wen i saved that image from the website i changed its name and now after a long time i cant even google it. so anyone who has this pic's website link do me this favour. give it to me.

its not made now. i just colour tweaked it and adjusted a bit. initially it was done to save the pride of the nation of vampires ... :P 15 minute sketch competition with an old friend. she is an artist and told me in the end that she wasnt in the comprtition on the first hand. so this was undisputed Winner of that secret competition. rain was the topic but i changed this caption by adding a bird in it while i was listening Marooned by their excilenceis Pink Floyd.

i m not a pianter basically but i try often to do somthing. I like oil medium and its look n feel but in this i tried to develope digital kinda flat stroke look n feel which rather look dots and ovals.
this was done in 1 and a half hour sesion with mouse and photoshop.
